Hi y'all. I don't know if any of my watchers are still active on this site really, but figured I'd chime in since there are recent happenings on DA that are uhhhhhh not great. I do not support DA's recent ventures into generative AI. I am likely never using this site again except to look at/clear my watch inbox unless it changes hands and is able to go back to the community that it once was. My gallery and uploads are staying (for now) because this site is so formative to me. I still do art and occasionally make fursuits. I have a husband and 3 cats now. I have a job where I actually use my degree. I still work on writing a comic that I've always wanted to, inspired by seeing so many wonderful comics, original characters, and artwork on this site when I was in middle school and high school.

Small update
I know a lot of people are disgruntled by DA's new site layout. I don't even really use DA often anymore, most of my online presence is on Twitter.

I was just going to update the About Me section on my profile but I can't figure out how to make a text link that isn't a URL and I don't want to spend the time trying to find out really.
I'll continue to have a profile on DA (I did also grab "Lycariously" as a profile here but probably won't use it much) but my presence isn't really very active other than just looking at webcomics that people still post on here that I follow.
If anyone takes a look, thanks for keeping up with me.

On the plus side, I'll be trying very hard to have this as a common upload location between Twitter where I'm more active and FA which I occasionally upload finished larger stuff to!

Now I just have to like.... go look for jobs...
The other thing is that my boyfriend got a programming consulting job in Minneapolis. He'll be starting there mid-June. We've talked about it, and I think ultimately I will be trying to aim my job search in that area and will eventually (ideally in the fall) move in with him. That means I need to be tailoring my portfolio so that I can actually shove it at people and ask them to hire me, so that'll be an ongoing thing.
In order to start saving up for that possibility, I'm also going to really try and take on commissions this summer. I'm going to rework my previous price sheet once I create some more examples. I'm also planning to do some YCH, whether they're auctions or just buyouts I'm not sure yet. Right now my main focus is World of Warcraft character art, since I think that's something I can appeal to a wider audience with and it can showcase a lot of character types and poses/effects/backgrounds. I've toyed with the idea of offering adult art, not sure what I'll decide on that but it's a consideration.
I got my hands on a room in the main hotel of MFF, but whether I'll go or not is still yet to be determined due to the whole, "I'm not sure if I'll be moving somewhere but hopefully I will but it's still in the air oh god help" thing.
I'm also going to look into selling my Chibisuke (white dragon) and Buizel costumes. If you're interested or know someone who might be, please contact me and we can negotiate something.
